2nd Annual Woodinville Winemaker's / Brew Master Triathlon & After Party Fun(d)raiser
|
The Woodinville wine community & the Mitochondrial Research Guild of Seattle Children's have
teamed up again to help patients & families suffering from mitochondrial disease. The goal of
this event is to raise awareness about mitochondrial disease, raise money to support the efforts
of the Mitochondrial Research Guild of Seattle Children's Hospital and have a lot of fun while
doing it.
The Winemaker's Triathlon participants are teams formed exclusively by the Woodinville wineries.
The course includes a running, bicycling, and a final padding stage (any non-motorized water craft)
upstream on the Sammamish River (behind Redhook Ale Brewery). The final paddling stage will be done
by the winemaker or brew master him/her self of each respective competing team.
|
|
As a VIP guest, you will enjoy watching all the triathlon action from the VIP Wine Garden section
where you will enjoy wines from all the competing wineries, beer from Redhook Ale Brewery and snacks
from Willows Lodge. Afterwards VIP guests are invited to join all the winery triathlon teams for the
big 'After Party' bash in Redhook's outdoor grassy amphitheater, known as The Bowl.
